Quests Needed: The Digsite Quest,

Waterfall Quest,
Troll Stronghold
Starting Location: Asgarnia Smith, at The Bedabin Camp, southwest of the Shantay Pass,
speak to the Archaeologist
First Part Items Needed:
650 Coins, 12 Magic Logs, 6 Steel Bars, 6 Molten Glass, Blood Rune, charcoal, bones, ashes
- Speak to Asgarnia Smith, the archaeologist, who mentions that he discovered a stone tablet deep in the desert and he wants you to take a parchment containing the etchings to the archaeological expert Terry Balando at the Varrock Digsite
- Head to the Digsite Exam Centre and speak to Archaeological Expert, who when you speak to him the choice comes up of which quest to speak about, choose the Desert Treasure of course, and he takes the parchment and begins to translate it, speak to him again about this quest and he will give you a Translation Primer book to take back to Asgarnia
- Asgarnia suggests you read the book which mentions something about a treasure deep in the desert and something concerning four crystals that the gods created or placed to protect it or seal it from someone or something (its kind of confusing to read), he asks that for a 50-50 split that you help him find this treasure and sends you directly south to the Bandit Camp to try and find out more about the stone tablet
- Inside the Bandit Camp there is a bar filled with bandits who have nothing to say to you
(Its not recommended that you attack any of the bandits because this place is multi-combat and they all jump you)
Purchase a Bandit's Brew for 650 coins which causes the bartender to start up a conversation with you about the Four Diamonds of Azzanadra, he mentions that you should find someone around the camp that may know more information that would be useful
- Head into the eastern most house in the camp to find Eblis, who when you mention the four diamonds immediately becomes less hostile and starts to trust that you are an adventurer who wants to restore their lands to the former glory of the old times, he mentions that the four diamonds were taken by followers of the "false god" Zamorak and that they most likely assimilated the power into themselves.
(Blood, Ice, Smoke, & Shadow)
- Eblis mentions that a spell can be conducted to magically view the locations of the diamonds, but you require a scrying glass for each location and in order to create one you require 2 magic logs, a steel bar, and a molten glass. Eblis requires 6 scrying glasses, and asks for the natural ingrediants to the spell, a set of normal bones, ash, charcoal, and a blood rune
- Bring the items to Eblis and use them on him to give them over, he tells you that the scrying glasses have been set up in the desert east of the Bandit Camp, head on over to the circle of six mirrors in the desert and look through each of them to get clues as to where the diamonds of Azzanadra are.
North Mirror - Ice Lands
Items Needed: Chocolate Bar, Spiked Boots, Prayer Potions, Stat Restore Potion, crushing weapon
-
Speak to the Troll Child who is standing outside of the Icy Gate who is crying, the game tells you that something sweet might cheer him up, give him a chocolate bar and he tells you that a "bad man" made his mommy and daddy all "freezy" when they wouldn't give him the jewel that they had found, go inside the icy gate and kill 5 of the ice trolls to cause the stalagmites to fall away and open up the cavern for passage
-
This entire area as you head through the snow does 1 damage nearly every second so put on protect from melee because you cannot run either, pass the Ice Wolves (Level-132) and you will reach an open area where the game gives you the message "you sense something evil"
-
Kamil (Level-154) an Ice Warrior appears and attacks you, using a frost attack that encases you in solid ice every 2-3 turns dealing 10 damage, defeat him and make use of the 2 chocolate cakes and super restore potion that he drops
- Continue through the mountain path which you may need to turn brightness to dark or normal in order to see, eventually you will reach another icy path that requires you to have spiked boots in order to climb, equip your spiked boots which can be acquired by giving an iron bar and some climbing boots to Dunstan in Burthorpe and begin your icy climb
-
Your character will trip every so often dealing 2 damage but luckily there is nothing more to fight in this area so just casually get to the top and pass through the icy gate which takes you to an area where two trolls are encased in ice blocks
-
Right click the option smash until they are both broken free and the troll parents take you with them back down the mountain to their son who reveals he had the Diamond of Ice all along and hands it over
NorthEast Mirror - Canafis
Items Needed: Silver Bar, Spice, Garlic, Pestle & Mortar, Silver Sickle & Druid Pouches not required but helpful in protecting your food supply
-
Head to the center of Canafis and into the Bar to see the barman Roavar being harassed by the vampire assistant to Lord Draken, Malak
-
Mention the Diamonds of Azzanadra and he tells you that a vampire named Dessous holds on of those inside of his tomb, and that he is not an easy enemy to defeat
- Malak mentions that you need to take a silver bar to the smither in the Draynor Sewers who makes you a Silver Pot, take this to Entrana where the Head Priest enchants it with the blessings of Saradomin, gather up some garlic and spice and head back to Malak who cuts you for 5 damage and pours your blood into the pot
- Grind up the garlic and add it into the Blessed Pot of Blood and then add the spices to disguise the smell, while in the city, gather up your ranged gear, or a halberd and set off in the southeastern direction of the Myreque Hideout swamp door, eventually you will reach another open area with a fenced in tombstone in the middle, use a super set to power yourself up and the only prayer you should use is your strongest defense bonus
-
Pour your garlicy spiced blessed blood on the tomb and the vampire Dessous (Level-139) will jump out and attack
DO NOT RUN BACK INTO THE SWAMP or he will lose interest and go back inside his coffin where you will have to gather the items again to lure him out once more
-
Finish off Dessous and return to Malak for the Diamond of Blood
NorthWest Mirror - Ardougne
Items Needed: 15+ Lockpicks, Prayer Potions
-
Head northwest of the northern bank toward the area where you start the waterfall quest and as southwest of Glarial's Tomb you should find a travelling merchant named Rasool who sells useless items for extremely high prices, but thats besides the point, ask about the Diamond of Azzanadra and he informs you that a Shadow Warrior named Damis holds it in a lair nearby,
and the only way you can locate the entrance is by wearing the ring of visibility that he has in his possession
-
Rasool asks that you recover his Gilded Cross that was taken by the Bandit Laheeb who just happens to live in the Bandit Camp where this quest somewhat began, travel back into the desert and use your lockpicks on the secure chest in the southernmost tent
-
This chest has three locks that have to be broken into sucessfully at one time or your lockpick breaks and you get poisoned, the Bandits around the camp can be theived for more picks if you run out
- Bring the cross back to Rasool who gives you the ring, equip it and enter the fenced park to the east and in the center the shadowy ladder will appear that leads into Damis' dungeon
-
Travel past the Giant Skeletons (Level-80) and the Shadow Hounds (Level-63) toward the eastern area of the dungeon, (you will know that you are getting close when the dungeon turns into multi-combat)
-
Enter the wide open area in the dungeon and Damis (Level-103) the Shadow Warrior will drop down in full armour and Black 2H, unforunately, most of the enemies will most likely be tailing you so it is a good idea to turn on protect from melee and kill this guardian safely
-
Unfortunately, the fight is not over when Damis dies, for he revives and sheds his armour becoming a
(Level-174) "psycho", who drains 20-30 prayer every time he hits you and hits very fast, my stragedy was as if I had dragon dagger poisoned
-
Get in the southeast corner and use up all your special on Damis hopefully poisoning him (he doesn't heal like most NPCs) and then hide to where he is still close by but in a niche in the walls where he can't get to you, drink a dose of prayer pot after each offensive and only make that offensive after using a super attack potion dose and only after you have an entire special bar so that you get more of a chance of hitting him
-
Defeat Damis and pick up the Diamond of Shadow that drops when he dies
SouthEast Mirror - Smokey Well
Items Required: Tinderbox, Energy Potions, Facemask
-
Before heading off to acquire this diamond, if you are able to, return to White Wolf Mountain Caves and gather another pair of Ice Gloves, this is useful for fighting the guardian of this diamond who makes weapon use impossble without the gloves
-
Head east of the Scrying Glasses to the desert area a little west of the desert town of Pollnivneach until you locate the (!) symbol, equip your facemask and drop down the well into the new dungeon
-
There is a Burnt Chest in the center of this dungeon, and four standing torchs in the NW, NE, SW, and SE corners, start in the northwest corner and use your tinderbox on the torch, then take off running for the next torch
-
Each torch stays lit for about 5-10 minutes so keep drinking energy pots and run around lighting the torchs in a clockwise path
-
If at any time one of the torches unignite, return to the NW torch and wait for the others to die out before trying again
-
After lighting the final torch head back to the Burnt Chest and open it to recieve the Warm Key, take this key to the gate which you encounter on the path that you should've ran to get from the NW torch to the NE torch, and open it
-
Fareed (Level-167) the Fire Warrior appears and attacks you with both melee and magic attacks, equip the armour as necessary to defeat him, and once he dies his fading ashes drop the Diamond of Smoke into your inventory
- Head back to Eblis with the four diamonds of Azzanadra to learn that he was a hero who was imprisoned by the desert traitors who feared his powerful magics, and now that you have recovered the diamonds, you can finally revive him... the diamonds are his power separated to keep him imprisoned
- Head south of the scrying glasses to find Azzanadra's pyramid, in order to open up the actual entrance you need to place one diamond in each of the corner obelisks
Blood = Northwest
Smoke = Northeast
Ice - Southeast
Shadow = Southwest
- Climb the pyramid from the northern staircase and enter the sandstone door, which should allow you to pass, and climb down the ladder into the Pyramid labyrinth dungeon
- Inside of this dungeon are Mummies (Level-103) who can killed but are just a waste of time, Scarabs (Level-92) who pop up and stop your character from moving for a second and poison you if they get a hit in, Sarcof*gus (sp?) which can be opened to rarely reveal an undefeatable Mummy, but your goal is to reach the ladders on each level and climb down 3 floors until you reach the central throne room
- Speak to Azzanadra who wonders if the great Paddewwa, the spires of Lassar, and the glorius Annakarl fortress still stand, obviously your character has never been to these places (of has he/she?) so you automactically respond that you do not think so, Azzanadra rewards you for reviving him by granting you the ancient magics of his Lord
