I suggest that you have in your bank lots of iron, coal, copper, tin ores, and some bars as well, as
this will be needed later on for the tasks with the consortium.
There is a bank in the Quest before you need anything, so don't worry about bringing stuff at first.
Quests Needed: The Knights Sword
Starting Location: A cave North-East of Rellekka
- Head for the cave North-East of Rellekka.
- Once in the cave, take a few short steps to another cave entrance. On the other side is a
Dwarven Ferryman. And a Dwarven Boatman. The Boatman offers to take you to Keldagrim for
free. Accept his offer.
- A cinematic follows, explaning the history behind the city. Then a camera pans around,
showing you the glory of the city. But when something goes wrong on the boat, you crash into the
statue of King Alvis and break it! You are taken away and under arrest by the Black Guard.
- When Commander Veldaban begins to question you, you learn he has no bad intentions. He
wants you to go to Blasidar, a sculptor who lives in Keldagrim-East.
- Go across the river to Keldagrim-East and find Blasidar. He's in the house just north-west of the
Pub and east of the gigantic trading building.
- Blasidar needs you to find some items for him. You'll have to scour Keldagrim for them. He says:
- "I will need a pair of boots, the most exquisite boots you can find. The more they look like the
original the better, but I don't think you'll be able to find an exact match."
- "For the torso, I need clothes that look like King Alvis' clothes. I'm not sure where you would be
able to find that, but I'm sure you'll manage."
- "Also, I need a battleaxe. Now this is particularly important. You are in luck, however, as I
believe King Alvis' original axe still survives."
GETTING THE CLOTHES
- Go to the gigantic trading building (east side) and talk to Vermundi the clothes merchant. She'll
tell you to talk to Hugi the librarian about it. He's located in the west part of town.
- Hugi tells you to search the library for the book 'Scholars Guide to Dwarven Costumes' and to
search the top shelves of bookcases. But the ladders won't hold your weight! You have to go to
the nearby Bank and deposit whatever you can to weigh less, then come back and search the
bookcase next to the north doorway to find the book you need.
- Head back to Vermundi. She can make the clothes, but she needs coal and wood. Get one of
each and use them with the Spinning Machine. Then light it with a Tinderbox! Talk to her again,
and pay her 200 gp for the material. In exchange, you'll finally get the clothes!
GETTING THE BOOTS
- Go to the building as far south-west as you can go. Talk to Saro there. He'll tell you he sold the
boots to a guy named Dromund.
- Dromund lives nearby, in the house directly north of the Bank. Keep taking the Left Boot until
you steal it, then go outside. Stand at the window and cast Telekinetic Grab on the Right Boot to
get it.
GETTING THE BATTLEAXE
- Talk to Santiri. He's in the building as far north-west as you can go. He'll talk of King Alvis' axe,
and that it is in need of repair. Tell him you'll repair it.
- You'll need to use three Sapphires with the axe to repair the hilt. Now it needs sharpening!
- Santiri tells you he needs the help of an Imcando Dwarf to repair the axe. Go to the Dwarf
south of Port Sarim, who is a major part of The Knight's Sword Quest. Teleport to Falador or take
the railway to get there faster.
- Bring Thurgo a Redberry Pie and the axe to get him to talk. Give him an Iron Bar to fix it up,
and you'll receive the sharpened axe! Better yet, you'll get the option to immediately return to
Keldagrim!
BACK TO BLASIDAR
- He'll tell you he doesn't know what the head should look like! Apparently, each of the
Consortium directors has their own opinion. Go up to the second floor of the gigantic trading
building for the next part of the quest.
- Find a company you like and talk to the secretary. Accept or decline, it doesn't matter.
Complete five tasks to have the opportunity of talking to the director.
- To advance further, you'll need to become part of the company. Ask for a task from the
Director. Complete it and ask to be part of the company. He'll make you an associate.
- Tell the Director you'll vouch for him at the meeting.
- Go back to Veldaban and tell him what has happened. He'll offer to take you to the meeting.
- A cinematic video plays during the meeting.
- And at the end you will find that your directors head is the one on the statue!
Congratulations! Quest complete!
