Tree Gnome Village

Difficulty level: Medium/Hard, Members Only

Reward: 2 quest points, some attack experience (11450 at level 60 attack), Gnome Amulet of Protection (can obtain another if lost), ability to teleport to and from the Gnome city using special trees

Items Needed: 6 logs, a good weapon and some good armor.

Starting Location: Gnome Village

Description: The tree gnomes are in trouble. General Khazard's forces are hunting them to extinction. Find your way through the hedge maze to the gnomes secret treetop village. Then help the gnomes fight Khazard and retrieve the orbs of protection.

Go through the maze until you are south of the city and near a ladder. Keep going a bit and push loose panels in fence. Below is a map for your help. Speak to King Bolren. You will be led out.

Go north of the hedge maze, and speak to Commander Montai (near the catapult.) He needs 6 loads of logs. Give them to him and he tells you about the next plan of attack, but he needs the exact coordinates of the main building and that he sent three men to get them.

Go across the little bridge, and there are now aggressive level 19 Khazard troops all over the place. The first tracker is in an oblong building in the north east part of the Khazard camp. You'll learn y coordinate is 5.

The second gnome should be just along the northern wall of the large building, west of the first tracker. Find that the height coordinate is 4.

The third one is south-west of the camp but he is a bit too crazy to give u the coordinate. He tells you a riddle instead: "More than me, less than our feet". The answer is 3 and it's the last missing coordinate x. So:

height = 4
x = 3
y = 5

Now that you have the coordinates, go back across the bridge and enter them in the ballista (west of the catapult.) Fire it and you will hit the building. If you don't hit the building make sure that you have them in the right order (not y = 5 or something)

Go back across the bridge and go to the large building. Climb over the broken wall and there should be a level 48 Khazard Commander. Kill him if he attacks.

Then, go up the ladder and search the chest and you will have the Orb of Protection. Go back to the entrance of the maze and speak to Elkoy who will bring you to the Gnome Village.

Talk to King Bolren. You'll learn you have to fight a Khazard Warlord. Now you have to go north-west past the buildings. Pass level 64 Wolfs. Khazard Warlord (level 112) He is protected by two or more Khazard Troops (level 19). Speak to the Khazard Warlord and he will attack you. When he dies, you will automatically pick up the other orbs of protection.

Go back to the entrance of the maze and speak to Elkoy who will bring you to the Gnome Village. Speak to King Bolren and you are now done the Tree Gnome Village quest!
